Well its been sometime since Ive posted. So I'm going to post a QUICK update!Sorry it its sporadic :) We have been keeping ourselves busy. We have recently moved into our new home, it was actually during the worst snow storm of the year~(end of January) and so it was definately interesting~ Since then we have been trying to get settled. We really love the new place and are having fun decorating!
Then near the end of February my sister and her family came into town for a week and it was fun having them all here.(Deb Dean Aleck and Kenna) All the kids had a great time playing together and Noah definitely broke out of his shell. (maybe too much?) We kept busy during that week and so when they left it seemed a bit dull and quiet for a while :)
Sky and Noah have been doing good. Skys just doing the same ol same ol, school, friends, gymnastics... Shes getting ready to go to an environemntal camp with her class/grade in a few weeks. Should be an interesting experience for her! We are also looking for another activity that she can try out since she doesnt seem that interested in gymnastics anymore.. Shes thinking maybe Karate... We will see!
The other day Noah tripped over a toy in his room and hit his head on the corner of his wooden toy box. He got a pretty good little gash. The Dr made a house call ( cool!) and they said we could either put a couple stitches in or just let it be. We chose to let it be, since we didn't want to put Noah through getting stitches, or risk messing it up even worse since he is so wiggly. It looks like its healing up well :)
Needless to say, Noah has been keeping his mommy very busy! He has become quite the handful and I believe he has hit the "terrible twos." Hopefully we can direct him in the right way lol. He is VERY busy and gets a kick out of throwing things, dumping things, climbing things, teasing his sister ( and laughing about it) etc.... Its hard to take him to the store anymore because he runs WILD! He especially loves the little hooks that the stores hang things on(socks, jewelry). He likes to dump everything off and then take the metal part and run.. He also likes to throw things off the shelves. He thinks its so funny... I think its going to be cart sitting for a while now... He also hates holding hands to cross streets, he will yank and whine, and even though we never let go he still continues :)
He is a very sweet boy though, he loves helping and giving hugs and kisses. He is a definite Daddies boy too. He gives Nate the sweetest looks. He just stares at him smiling ALL the time like WOW YOUR SO NEAT! cute~ It is nice though, because it gives me a little break when Nate gets home since Noah always wants to be at his side...
Nate has been keeping busy working ( but not too much!) He also just took up cycling again for the season and has been training quite a bit. He plans to ride in the Seattle to Portland and then a few local rides/fundraisers. We are hoping my brother Troy will come up and ride with him in the STP. ( hes done it a couple times)
