Aubrie turned one month old yesterday! According to our scale, she weighs around 8 1/2 pounds and still eats about every 2 hours... Its hard to believe how fast the time had flown by, almost too fast! She is a little doll and definately knows what she wants when she wants it, which means mom gets absolutely nothing done around the house or with anything else for that matter..
Shes started to become alot more alert in the past week or so as well( she was awake almost all day yesterday and today!) and just a few days ago really started "cooing." If you act REALLY REALLY goofy and say alot of words with high pitched sounds EEEEE IIIII she will smile for you ... Cute! Those are always the best moments,and I will try to get a pic of that soon :) She has also really started to grasp things around her. If she has a Binky in her mouth she usually pulls it out and throws it, she likes to hold onto my hair, and also just blankets and burp clothes,etc...
What else??? She sleeps really good at night, only waking at 3am and then 7am to eat and always goes right back to sleep. Well I take that back, she wakes more often to eat but its usually breast milk so its not as bad as walking downstairs to get a bottle. (which happens at 3am and 7am! lol and Nates the one who gets to run down for me.) She still sleeps in moms arm too, which is where she sleeps best anytime ( or Dads or Skys) If she falls asleep and I try to put her down or in her swing, she immediately wakes up..
Everyone else is doing good. Noah warms up more and more each day and is really cute and protective over her. He does wish mom was "on hand" as before but he is slowly getting used to it and it doesn't bother him too much..Sky is also doing great, although today she stayed home from school as she woke up at 3am with a temp of 106! So she is confined to her room with the tv (she LOVES watching tv) for the day and I wait on her when she needs things.. She seems to be feeling a bit better today ( temp down to 101) so hopefully it wont last long. She always likes holding Aubrie when she gets home from school so she is missing out on that. ( which is a HUGE help to me, so I can clean a little) All in all, we are all doing good, and there she is now!Adios!
