Snow Days!

Snow, snow and more snow! It snowed for almost a week straight! The kids were in heaven! After a 3 day weekend (MLK day) the kids got 4 snow days off from school, one of which included a crazy ice storm that resulted in a 13 hour power outage.

 Noah.... I think he would have lived outside the entire time if we let him. He LOVES the snow and couldn't get enough of it!  Aubrie, she liked it for a few minutes at a time and then she was ready to come inside and warm up. They both enjoyed playing with their friends! Sky, she didn't venture out much but did love not having to go to school and had a few fun days with her friends!

The next morning, we woke up and out when the power (due to a crazy ice storm)! We got up, got dressed, and headed into Bellevue Square to play for the day. We heard that the power could be out for days and so we took the easy way out and booked a cheap hotel in Bellevue for the night :) Luckily, the power came back on that night at 9:30pm and so by the time we got home the next morning the house was nice and warm! :)

 Within two days the snow was completely melted and gone! Although it was a bit fun venturing out in the snow, I was glad to have it gone! The perfect winter!
