This past week Grandma Hanson flew in from Iowa and stayed for the week. It was great to have her come out as we definately dont get to spend enough time with her. The kids were very excited about her visit, about getting to know their grandma, and they fell in love with her the first day. Strangely, Aubrie wasn't even too shy and wanted to hold grandmas hand by the second day! Imagine that! She pretty much spoiled the kids with gifts, and came up with new and fun ideas to keep them busy. Sky was at camp for 3/4 of the time that Grandma Hanson was here but they enjoyed a day of shopping together as well. We really enjoyed her visit! I'm sure she was happy to get back home to peace and quiet though lol.... Our house is a little crazy....well, most of the time! :)
Grandma Hanson took the kids to Joann's and let them pick out fabric to make them a special blanket ( or as Noah says "knit" a blanket lol). Noah's picked out "Cars" fleece and after changing her mind a few times, (From Ponies, to Hello Kitty, to Minny Mouse) Aubrie finally settled on Disney Princess. Grandma had them done by morning!
