First Day of First Grade!
Our big boy Noah started his first day of first grade today! His first year of "all day" school. Im going to miss this sweet little wild boy in the daytime but he was so ready to head to school :)We woke up bright and early and made sure to get a good breakfast in, got everyone dressed and headed off!
Noah rode his scooter, it was such a beautiful sunny day!

At the end of the day he came out and said he had a fun day! He offered up a few details of his day :) He mentioned that his favorite part of the day was free time, when he played dominos! He made some new friends in his class, ( he had only 2 people that he knew in his class and they were both girls), he ate lunch outside with his best friend from last year, Jay Jay," lunch was so fast," he didn't have time to eat his fruit snacks because the bell rang. ( how awesome is that, that he ate all his healthy food before his fruit snacks) and then tonight before bed ( think tired boy) he said he had to make a calendar and it was really boring and hard because he had to write soooo many numbers and he kept getting his 2's and 5's mixed around, and I guess the last detail I heard before bed was that in music the teacher treats them like little babies and makes them sit on the hard floor and it hurts his bum. lol :) He did get to sit on a blue rug though and he thought that was pretty neat :) Hoping for another good day tomorrow or possibly better :)
First Day of Preschool!
After we got Noah off to school, Aubrie was next! She started her first day of preschool today.
We are lucky enough to have a friend who wanted to start a preschool in her home and who lives just up the street. Aubrie loves her little girl and so she was excited to be going to her friends house for preschool. What was even better to Aubrie was that when she got there, her and her friend were the only ones there for the day! (Aubrie is very shy around kids) We did a little orientation and then I left her there for about an hour and she did awesome, better actually, when I wasnt there...

First Day as a Sophomore in High School!
Skys day started off a little later then the other kids. She didnt have to be in school until a little after 11am and so she got to sleep in this morning and then caught a ride with a friend to school later. Unfortunately I was busy with Aubrie and so I missed her farewell ( albeit trying to track her down when I left Aubrie at preschool) She had a great day too though! She enjoyed seeing all her friends and being back in school. I cant believe she is in 10th grade already, that means she can drive soon, get a job soon and has only 3 more years until she graduates! Where has the time gone?! Im pretty proud of this girl! She is a strong and smart girl yet has a gentle spirit!
Mom ( me) did ok with the kids starting school. I cried my eyes out and worried about them last night. Noah at school all day, the LONG day, him getting tired, being starving, overworked and frusturated lol etc... Aubrie growing up, going off to preschool....Sky being a sophmore in high school....but it all turned out pretty well and the day went by pretty quick because of other activities. We will see how the next few days go since they will be slower for all of us :) They are all growing up so so fast!
Hoping for a great school year for all my kids! I love them all so much!
