Labor day weekend was our last long weekend before the kids started back to school and so we decided to take advantage of it and head down to Portland! We all love Portland, the culture, the food, the beautiful parks and hiking trails, tax free shopping,etc... I actually should have titled this post, Vietnamese sandwich because Nate and I tried three different sandwiches/restaurants that weekend, yes three meals of Vietnamese Sandwiches lol Yum! They have so many yummy small resteraunts in Portland!
Anyway, on Saturday we headed down to Portland and hit up downtown Portland, the Saturday Market, and The Rose Gardens/Washington Park.

On Sunday, we went to another beautiful park, did a little school shopping, a movie and then dinner and back to the hotel for our nightly walk to the Yogurt shop :)

After our nightly walk to the Yogurt store on Sunday, we went to Target and Nate told the kids they could each pick out a toy/item.They were super excited! Noah got a lego helicopter, Aubrie picked out a baby with a potty, and Sky picked out a cd and then took the rest in cash :) We all stayed up until midnight that night putting together Noahs Lego creation ;)
Next morning, breakfast and off to the hotel pool ( finally) before check out!
Before heading home we did a little more shopping and then we also went to a local event at a park that had free games with prizes, jumpy toys, food, snacks, etc... and lastly hit up another Vietnamese Sandwich shop lol...
It was a great end to our summer vacation!
