Sadly, summer is coming to an end. Sky and Noah start back to school in 2 days ( 11th and 2nd grade) and a few days later Aubrie will head back for her 2nd and last year in preschool (at a new preschool). :( Summer seems to have gone by so quickly! However, we did make a lot of fun memories with visitors and day trips and vacations. ( Hopefully more about those on a later post )
Anyway, before school starts again we decided to make a "last" getaway of the summer. We headed down to Oregon for a few days. We left early Saturday and hung out in Downtown Portland. We have yet to try the famous Voodoo doughnuts. The line was only 30 minutes this time but the temp was almost 90 degrees and so we decided we would make it next trip. (for sure)

Sunday we headed to one of our favorite beaches. Cannon Beach. It was such a beautiful day at 73 degrees and blue skies, and little to no wind. The little town is so fun to walk around too. We couldn't have asked for a better day :) I was a little photo happy this day :)(ok maybe everyday) Love this place so much!

On Monday (Labor Day) we headed out to Multnomah Falls and hiked to the top. The kids did awesome as it was a steep hike with many switch backs! )
I love the Columbia River, not sure why, but I think its so beautiful!
