~*Family Life*~: Aubrie 9 months old (long)

Aubrie turned 9 months old yesterday and she weighs about 17 1/2 pounds :) She has 4 teeth on top and 2 on the bottom, and she is getting to be quite a busy body. She is crawling all over the place and is pulling herself up to standing on almost everything she can get her hands on. I think she will be so happy when she can walk and follow Noah around. Im hoping by then he wont mind if she touches his toys...(ha!) Since she has started crawling he hasn't been a happy camper :) Her favorite place to hang out is by the oven because it has a bar low enough for her to pull up on., yet she also likes the tv stand as well...

As for eating and sleeping. She is a very picky eater, most of the time I dont know what to feed her. She doesnt like any veggies and most of them give her tummy troubles... She doesnt like any cereal or oatmeal so the "nutrient filled" grains are hard to get in..She likes bananas and pears and the mixtures that go with those. She also likes those gerber puffs which really arent that great :) She likes some of what we eat, especially pizza and spagetti and chicken . She loves cheeses and dairy products (cottage cheese, cheese, maccaroni and cheese) but I worry about dairy and allergies and so I try to limit the cheeses/dairy products... Plain cheerios, waffles, strawberries and raspberries. She loves fruits... Lately her favorite is waffles with raspberries (is that bad?) You always worry they arent getting enough of the right things...

Sleeping, I would say she does pretty good. She takes about 3 naps during the day, each about 1 hour. (sometimes the morning one is longer) and she goes to bed around 9pm and wakes up at 6:30am.. (Thanks to daylight savings grrr!) She still sleeps with mom and dad and wakes up to eat maybe once or twice but usually goes back to sleep easily.

Sometime to note, she fell off the bed the other day! There was NO sound coming from the monitor and then I hear a big thump and her starting to scream. It scared me to death! Our bed is very high too. We were SOOO lucky she didn't get hurt... Anyway, her crib is now up and we are just awaiting delivery of her mattress ( 100% organic! woot!) For now, the monitor is right on top of her head, pillows are stacked 3 high all around her, and if mom hears any sound she bolts upstairs very quickly! Not good..

She loves her brother and sister

She loves to have her clothes off (gets super happy!)

She loves to crawl under the clothes hanging in the stores, she thinks its funny...(yes I sit her down on the floor at Target sometimes while Im looking. Noah thinks its so funny too )

She loves it when her brother and sister talk to her and plays with her.

She loves her baths and cries when I take her out

She loves when daddy comes home (who doesn't?)

She loves tags

She dislikes getting dressed

She dislikes naps

She dislikes when mommy isnt in sight

She dislikes sitting still for too long or being held in one spot for too long (she wants DOWN)

She REALLY dislikes people she doesnt know talking to or coming around her (stranger anxiety)

One more thing I have to mention~ She already has started throwing tantrums :) If she doesnt get her way ( or if you take away something she has)she will arch her back and yell, right now its cute and makes me laugh but we will see what a couple years brings :)

Cant wait for her first Christmas, it should be fun!
